Evacuation Action

  1. Carry an emergency evacuation kit.
  2. Please turn off the main power supply, gas, and natural gas before leaving home, and please wear comfortable clothes, as well as covered and sturdy shoes.
  3. Assistance to people using wheelchairs or crutches.
    1. Wheelchairs: Regardless of starting, stopping, or changing direction, people with physical disabilities need to be reminded in advance and wear seat belts as much as possible. When moving on a steep slope or going downstairs, turn the wheelchair and keep the center of gravity of the body close to the wheelchair, move backward slowly in a backward manner, and avoid the wheelchair from falling backwards, reducing the risk and the fear of the physically handicapped. Also try to avoid lifting the wheelchair. If necessary, it is safer for three or four people to work together.
    2. Crutches: Start by asking how people with disabilities can be supported to move at their walking speed. Try to choose a route with fewer moving steps and avoid unevenness or large drop-offs.
    3. People with disabilities rely heavily on assistive devices, so please ask emergency contacts not to separate the assistive device from the disabled person.
    4. In an environment where a wheelchair cannot be used, please confirm the willingness and specific assistance methods with the physically handicapped person before letting him leave the wheelchair and use a stretcher or other methods to move.
